Kolhapur corporation has developed this garden in 35 gunthe area of open space in Samratnagar. In this project, 720 ft compound wall is constructed surrounding the garden and flower beds are prepared in the garden. Seasonal plants like Shakasur, Musanda, Exora, Kaneri, Jaswand are planted in these flower beds. Decorative fountains and electric lighting are provided in the garden. |

Children's toys are fitted on the sand pit and lawn is prepared. Total Rs. 5.00 lakhs was the total cost of the garden. Out of this Rs. 4.5 lakhs were made available from local development program fund of hon'ble M. P. Shri. Mandalik. Remaining expenditure was done through corporation's own funds. |
| This garden was inaugurated on 13-11-2001 and was opened for citizens. |
