Smrutivan has been developed on 16 gunthe area in Takala area of E ward in the city. Citizens in Kolhapur can plant trees in memory of their beloved relatives. Donation of Rs. 1001 is taken from the citizens to protect and nurture the trees. At present 30 citizens have done tree plantation in the garden under this scheme.
