This is the only girl's high school of corporation & many past students are seen in various fields holding important positions. The present Councilor Sou. Varsha Prakash Mohite & Sou. Shalini Sarjerao Patil are past students of this high school. All teachers keep contact with parents of students & inform them about student's progress in study. For 10th standard students special coaching class is arranged for better performance & results. High school has taken active part in many activities & competitions.

There are short term courses by education board also with the help of Private highschool, Maharashtra highschool, D. Ed. college. For the students of 5th to 7th standard short term courses are run for English subject. Science lectures of trained teachers are arranged as per N. C. E. R. T. scheme. Government supplies latest scientific equipment to some schools. It is proposed to start 25 full fledged science laboratories at various places in the city. Up till now, such laboratories are started in 7-8 schools. There are 200 trained teachers in N.C.E.R.T. syllabus with school board for 3rd to 7th standard.

The high school has 100% grant in aid from corporation. From 1954 there were 9 headmasters/ head mistresses. At present there are 21 teachers & 8 non teaching staff members in the high school.
